The photo essay meetings will be held at SUNY Albany this year. As the newsletter stated there will be a series to assist with creating an essay this year. The first meeting will be a general introduction to documentary photography and story telling. You do not have to attend to compete however I highly recommend that you take advantage of Katherine Van Acker’s generous offer to mentor us all this year.
Here are her comments concerning where to park and where the class room is:
Meetings will be held in the Science Library of SUNY Albany, room SLDG02. Digital workshop 1, SLOG02 is on the ground floor in the front right side of the building. There should be no cost to park in the lot at night.
Map of SUNY Albany. There is a visitors lot between East Center Drive and Indian Drive. That is where I recommend people park. They just have to walk up Indian Drive and into the Science Library. That is the closest lot to Science Library. It is not that far. If anyone wants or needs handicapped parking, they should contact the SUNY Albany Parking Office for more information.
Hope to see many of you there.
