Urban Street Photography…Candid Images of People
By Rick Hulbert
Street photography is candid photography of people in the “Public Realm” . . . essentially unstaged and manipulated. It consists of photography anywhere allowing the public to come and go freely.
Rick’s photography and teachings are informed by the History of the 2-Dimensional Arts of Drawing and Painting along with the Sciences of Human Vision.
Rick’s presentation is designed to appeal to all photographers, regardless of their level of experience and expertise.
As an internationally recognized award-winning architect, urban designer, and photographer, Rick is a “Life Member” of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, and a “Fellow” of The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
He currently is a teacher of photography at Simon Fraser University and Langara College in Vancouver, Canada.
In normal times, Rick leads multi-day photo workshops through North America and Europe.
